Fonact Summer School, 2026

It was my pleasure to return to FONACT to run one of their summer schools during the month of August. My work aligns very closely with the work at FONACT where building the ensemble, finding complicité and the pleasure to play is the order of the day.  I worked with seven highly curious, generous and talented students on the principals of complicité, clown work, contemporary text ([BLANK] by Alice Birch, Chekhov, Shakespeare and Greek Tragedy scenes. My great friend and colleague Manon Vernier assisted me and together we were able to offer students a very comprehensive insight into the principals of ‘play’ as described above. The FONACT summer schools offer students so much in the beautiful town of Fontainebleu and I could not recommend it highly enough.
