TNN’s Building Audience Diversity 2015 - Keynote Speech

We want it. We need it. Be part of it.

Why: Diversity for and by NSW theatre – it doesn’t get more real than thatHow does NSW do diversity? You need to be a part of this event to make it real and, more importantly, to make it resonate! So sign up for these cheap-as-chips tickets and join TNN and your peers either online or in person. Those in-person participants get the added benefit of joining us for network drinks afterwards!

Kristine Landon-Smith, Artistic Director with UK-based ‘Tamasha’ theatre and NIDA Lecturer leads the afternoon. Fiona Winning, Program Manager with Sydney Festival 2015, will facilitate the ensuing conversation by keeping us activated and on track.

Guest provocateurs Sonny Dallas Law (Blaklines), Rosie Dennis (Urban Theatre Projects), Michelle KotevskiRiverside Theatre, Annette Shun Wa (Performance4a), Liza-Mare Syron (Moogahlin), and Karen Therese (Powerhouse Youth Theatre) will also be on hand to lure us into some clever and sometimes personal ways of progressing diversity.

This is TNN’s major event for the year. Informal yet providing critical insight connection for anyone in the NSW theatre sector this event has been developed to be acute and accessible.

For those who can’t be there ‘in person’ TNN offers an online event ticket which will provide those participants with live streaming and interaction with the event.
